Holy Disruption! When our lives and faith is disrupted by Jesus, there is always hope for a new way, a better way even.  While disruption is hard, we can and will move forward in the confidence of Jesus' grace and love.

Following Jesus means that amidst our diversity we dare to claim community by remembering our unity in Him.  

We missed last week due to snow, but decided to run "Baptism of our Lord" back this week.  Pastor Dave shares that our baptism is not simply our shared identity (regardless of denomination) but what frees us to risk and dare and live alternatively in the world.

The Magi bring gifts.  They are foreigners.  Of a different religion.  Yet, they have a part to play in the Jesus event.  Epiphany is a day to remember that God's vision for our world cannot be put into a box.  It is an expansive vision where the Spirit roams freely and peculiarly.  This means that all of us have a part to play in the unfolding of the Kingdom of God. 

The Spirit of Christmas invites us to see beyond the tinsel and the presents to the radical awakening that God calls us to embrace as followers of Jesus.

Doug passionately calls us to remember that Christmas is first and foremost about loving others!

Difficult truth spoken in love!  John the Baptist calls us to repentance and to amend our ways.  Yet, his challenge is always made within the fidelity and grace of the God who restores and redeems. 

Bruce invites us to "slow down" and take in the presence of God which is all around us.  By doing so we become awake to and aware of the amazing grace that surrounds every day.
